Following a season in which it captured its third straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) championship, the Concordia College men’s tennis team has been ranked No. 15 in the nation and No. 1 in the East Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). The Clippers battled their way into the NCAA Round of 16, but were unable to reach the quarterfinals for the fourth consecutive season. They fell to No. 9 Grand Canyon 5-4, to end their season with a record of 18-8 (6-0 CACC).

Sophomore Daniele Piludu of Cagliari, Italy, retained his No. 15 singles slot after finishing the season at 19-3, and jumped to No. 19 in the nation’s doubles ranking with senior Geza Bazula of Budapest, Hungary, after a 13-8 season.
