Daily Sports Digest: Local Swimmers Participate in Section Preliminaries

With the majority of the fall seasons over for local teams high school students are beginning to prepare for winter sports. One of the sports that is still going strong is girls swimming, which held preliminaries last night at Felix Festa Middle School.

The section 1 championship finals will be held on Wednesday at Felix Festa.

Highlights: The Pearl River team finished sixth in the 200 Medley Relay, and Theresa McKallen placed sixth in the 200 Individual Medley and ninth in the 100 Backstroke.
