Both the Falcons and the Pirates enjoyed very successful days Albertus Magnus won on the road in soccer and volleyball. Pearl River volleyball bean Nanuet in four games while the Pirates girls soccer team tied at Horace Greeley.
Pearl River also announced that its home playoff game against Rye Thursday will start at 3 p.m. The Pearl River soccer teams will find out their playoff schedules Wednesday and Thursday. Check back with Patch for details.

Score: Albertus Won 2-0
Highlights: Matt Dale and Robert Ottaviano who each put in a goal for the Falcons in the 2-0 road win. Karl Jamiolkowski had 14 saves in the win, and Jon Rizner had five saves for Nyack in the loss.

Game: Albertus Magnus @ Dobbs Ferry
Score: Albertus Won 3-0
Highlights: Albertus Magnus won with ease on the road thanks in large part to Mallary McFadden’s 12 kills and 7 assists, and Brian Gallagher and her 5 kills and 14 assists.
Sport: Girl’s Soccer
Game: Pearl River @ Horace Greeley
Score: Teams Tied 3-3
Highlights: The Pirates got two goals from Casey Walsh and one from Keira McMullan in the tie on the road. Defensively Pearl River goalkeeper Francesca Cobuzzi had 11 saves.
Sport: Volleyball
Game: Nanuet @ Pearl River
Score: Pearl River Won 3-1
Highlights: Pearl River defended their home court thanks to 12 kills from Annette Krysiewicz and 13 assists from Victoria Grix. Caitlin Lenihan had 12 kills while Nia Diaz added ten for Nanuet in the loss.

In field hockey, Clarkstown South heads to Pearl River at 4 p.m.
In girl’s soccer, Pearl River hits the road to take on Haladane at 4:15 p.m. The location of the game was changed today to St. Basil Academy.
In girl’s soccer, Nyack will take on the Falcons at Albertus Magnus at 4:15.
In volleyball, Albertus Magnus will hit the road against Tappan Zee at 4.
