Degnan, Davis Lead Pearl River Past Suffern

Forwards Kevin Degnan and Tom Davis each scored 15 points to lead the Pearl River boys basketball team to a 46-40 victory at Suffern Tuesday.

The Pearl River boys basketball team relied on returning starters Kevin Degnan and Tom Davis for much of the offense, opening the season with a 46-40 victory at Suffern Tuesday.

Degnan and Davis each scored 15 points for the Pirates, who split two meetings with the Mounties last season. 

Pearl River (1-0) will play noon Saturday at Clarkstown South.
