Pirates Take Top Two Spots in Race Walk at Rockland Invite

The Pearl River girls continued to demonstrate their strength in the 1500-Meter Race Walk in Friday's Rockland County Coaches Invitational at RCC.

Pearl River sophomore Meghan Keetley won the race walk in 7:42.60, with senior Caitlin Lardaro second in 7:56.2.

Pearl River athletes finished fourth in two other events, Amie Kovarik in the pole vault and Kayla Clohessy in the long jump.

The Pirates finished fifth in the team standings with 25 points. Suffern won with 80, followed by New Rochelle with 78m
