Nanuet Beats Pearl River Volleyball

Nanuet defeated Pearl River, 3-1, at home Thursday.

Nanuet pulled out a close victory in the fourth game to earn a 3-1 victory at home against Pearl River Thursday.

Nanuet won the first game, 25-16, but Pearl River tied the match with a 25-22 victory in the second. The Golden Knights took the third, 25-14, then closed the Pirates out with a 27-25 win in the fourth.

Senior Victoria Grix contributed three kills, 10 assists and five aces for Pearl River (4-6). Senior Annette Krysiewicz led the team in kills with seven and blocks with four.

Pearl River doesn't play again until Oct. 10, 4:30 p.m. at Irvington.
