Ocasal's OT Goal Gives Pearl River Victory Over Sleepy Hollow/Irvington/Dobbs Ferry

Shane Ocasal scored at the 1:46 mark in overtime to give Pearl River an 8-7 victory over Sleepy Hollow/Irvington/Dobbs Ferry in the Nyack Black and Red Ice Hockey Tournament Thursday.

Senior Shane Ocasal set up two goals in regulation, then scored the game-winner himself at the 1:46 mark in overtime to give Pearl River an 8-7 victory over Sleepy Hollow/Irvington/Dobbs Ferry in the first round of the Nyack Red and Black Ice Hockey Invitational Thursday at Palisades Ice Rink.

Max McGee, Pat Burns and Tommy Murphy each scored two goals and assisted on one for the Pirates, who broke a four-game losing streak and improved their record to 2-5. Kevin Murphy scored a goal and assisted on four more and goaltender Sam Couglin made 17 saves on 24 shots. 

Brett Enax and Kevin Halpin each scored three goals for the Legends.
