Pearl River defeated Fredonia, 17-6, in five innings Wednesday in the New York State Little League 9-10-Year-Old Softball Tournament in Fishkill.
Ashley Barresi doubled twice and scored three runs for Pearl River. Corinne Miedreich doubled and Alyssa Smith and Quinlyn Maloney each scored three runs.
Pearl River will play North Bellmore 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the tournament semifinals in Fishkill.
