Pearl River 9-10 All-Stars Reach Title Game

Pearl River defeated Lewisboro, 8-2, Saturday to advance to the Section 4 Championship.

Pearl River scored six runs in the second inning on the way to an 8-2 victory over Lewisboro Saturday in Patterson to advance to the Section 4 age 9-10 baseball all-star championship.

Pearl River will play Harrison 1 p.m. Sunday in Patterson. Harrison won the first meeting of the two teams in the tournament, so Pearl River must win twice to earn the section championship.

Sean Flaherty hit a two-run double, Jonathan Farley added an RBI single and Kyle Muldoon hit a sacrifice fly during the six-run first inning. John Pausley hit a two-run home run for Lewisboro in the top of the third inning, but Pearl River got the runs right back in the bottom of the third on an RBI single by Liam McLinskey and Denis Fleming's RBI ground out.
