Pearl River Baseball Wins at South

Pearl River won, 9-2, at Clarkstown South Saturday.

Pearl River's first two batters of the game came around to score, providing a fast start that helped the Pirates to a 9-2 victory at Clarkstown South.

Pearl River put away a close game with a four-run sixth inning.

Senior third baseman Jake Tedesco went 4-for-5 with two runs scored and John Brebbia and John Doherty each drove in three runs for the Pirates.

The Pearl River softball game scheduled for the same time Saturday was cancelled due to the field conditions at South. 

Pearl River will play its next two games against Nyack, on the road 4 p.m. Monday and at home 4:15 p.m. Wednesday.
