Pearl River Baseball Wins on Minor League Stage

Pearl River defeated Suffern, 6-1, Friday at Provident Bank Park in Pomona.

Pearl River took full advantage of the opportunity to play Friday in Provident Bank Park, home of the Rockland Boulders, beating Suffern, 6-1.

John Doherty struck out three and gave up one run on six hits in 6 1/3 innings for the Pirates. Kevin Considine and Dan Campbell each had two hits and two RBI and Chris Beers had two hits and stole two bases for Pearl River.

Jared DaCosta had two hits for Suffern.
