The Pearl River boys would likely need to beat Nyack Monday to have a chance to play at home in the first round. Because so many teams have a chance to make the playoffs in Class A, the Pirates could end up playing a preliminary-round game at home Feb. 13.

Section 1 Wrestling (UPDATEd at 4:55 p.m.)

The Saturday matches in the Section 1 wrestling finals were cancelled due to the high number of schools that had already called off all activities that day. Rather than spread over two days as planned, the sectionals will be held entirely Sunday.

Pearl River will compete in Division I, which will start 9 a.m. Sunday and go right on through to the finals. Most Rockland County schools will be there. Nanuet will join the other Division 2 schools at Irvington 9 a.m. Sunday.
