Pearl River Boys Basketball Beats Suffern in OT

Kevin Degnan made two free throws with 10 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime and Pearl River pulled away in the extra period to defeat Suffern, 59-52, at home Friday.

Degnan led the Pirates (3-3) with 24 points and 14 rebounds and junior Jack Byrnes added 17. Tyler McDine led Suffern with 21 points.

Pearl River's next game is 1 p.m. Monday at North Rockland.
