Pearl River Boys Basketball Eliminated at Peekskill

Pearl River lost, 70-67, in a Section 1 Class A boys basketball game at Peekskill Friday.

Pearl River led as late as midway through the fourth quarter before falling, 70-67, at Peekskill Friday in the first round of the Section 1 Class A boys basketball playoffs.

Kevin Degnan scored 23 points to lead four scorers in double figures for Pearl River (11-9).Senior Tom Davis contributed 13 points while Rich Masley scored 12 and Tom Armour added 11.

No. 5 seed Peekskill will play in the quarterfinals Tuesday at No. 4 Albertus Magnus, a 70-66 winner over Panas Friday.
