Woodlands built a 12-point halftime lead on the way to a 54-46 victory at Pearl River Monday.
Pearl River Head Coach Jerry Houston, Jr. termed the loss "extremely disappointing." The Pirates record dropped to 1-2.
Ross Joseph scored 17 points and Jamil Gambari added 10 for Woodlands. Kevin Degnan led Pearl River with 20 points and Chris Flood had 10 for the Pirates.
Pearl River's next game is at home 7 p.m. Friday against Clarkstown North.
