The Pearl River boys golf team avenged its one loss of the season with a 207-210 victory over Tappan Zee Monday at Rockland Country Club.
Pearl River's Brian McGarvey shot the low score with a 38. Stephen Keary shot a 39 for Tappan Zee, which fell to 5-1.
The Pirates followed that victory witha 229-265 win over Nyack Tuesday at Rockland Lake Golf Course. Nyack's Alex Ferrante shot the low score with a 42, but Pearl River had the next five lowest, including Shane Kennedy's 43. Pearl River is now 7-1 on the season. Nyack is 0-5.
