Pearl River Boys XC Slips by TZ, Beats Nyack

Pearl River edged Tappan Zee, 26-30, and both schools defeated Nyack.

Tappan Zee entered Tuesday's three-team meet at Nyack ranked ahead of Pearl River in the New York State Sportswriters' Association's Class B state rankings.

The Dutchmen were at No. 13 with Pearl River at 24.

Pearl River reversed that order Tuesday with a 26-30 victory over Tappan Zee, with both teams defeating Nyack.

Boys completed an undefeated league record with two wins.  Beat favored TZ 26 to 30 and Nyack 19 to 42.  TZ is ranked slightly ahead of Pearl River in the current state rankings.
