Senior Brian Cook ran first overall to help Pearl River defeat Nyack and Clarkstown South in a three-team boys cross country meet Tuesday at Pearl River Middle School.
Cook ran the low time of the meet, 16:44, with teammates Mike Mahoney second and Brandon Ilie fourth.
Nyack's David Gates was third overall and Adam Klein, Clarkstown South's top finisher, was eighth.
Pearl River beat Nyack, 20-39, and Clarsktown South, 15-48, to improve its record to 5-0. Nyack (2-4) defeated South (0-5), 20-35.
