Pearl River Cancels Many Friday, Saturday Sporting Events

Rain forced cancellations of Pearl River's baseball, softball and boys lacrosse games Friday.

The Pearl River softball team's rematch against Clarkstown South will have to wait, as will many sporting events scheduled for Friday and Saturday. 

Pearl River lost its season opener at home against Clarkstown South, 1-0. The teams will now play again April 19 at South. 

Pearl River's baseball game at Nanuet was rescheduled from Friday to Monday and Friday's boys lacrosse game against Hasting was moved to April 22.

Saturday's Pearl River girls lacrosse home game against Suffern was postponed and will be made up Monday.
