Pearl River Doubles Team Advances to Quarters

Pearl River sent three teams into the Conference IV boys tennis tournament Wednesday at Pearl River.
One pair, Jared Schlosser and Brendan McIntyre, advanced to the quarterfinals in day two of the tournament, which begins 3 p.m. Thursday at Pearl River.
Schlosser and McIntyre defeated teammates Sam Berry and Rajat Rao, 6-1, 6-4, in the second round Tuesday. They beat the Clarkstown South team of Tracey and O'Brien in the first round.

Pearl River's top doubles team, Jack Mikuszewski and Dan Scortea, won one match before falling to a team from East Ramapo, 6-2, 6-2, in the second round.
