Pearl River Doubles Teams Compete in Conference Tennis

Two Pearl River doubles teams are scheduled to play in the conference tournament today at Clarkstown South

Two Pearl River doubles teams are set to play in the first round of the conference tournament this afternoon at Clarkstown South.

The start of the event was postponed by rain Tuesday and still could be rained out again today.

Pearl River's team of Jeremy Rosen and Sam Berry enters the tournament as the League 4B champions. Teammates Neil Francis and Brendan McIntyre also advanced from the league tournament. The top three singles players and top three doubles teams from the conference tournament advance to the Section 1 finals May 24 and May 25 at A. F. Veteran Town Park in Ardsley.

Nanuet's Kevin Quill is the top seed in the conference singles tournament, so he has a bye into the second round.
