Pearl River Enters Ice Hockey Playoffs as No. 6 Seed

Pearl River will open the Section 1 Division 2 ice hockey playoffs 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20 with No. 11 Ossining at Sport-O-Rama.

Pearl River (12-6-1) earned the No. 6 seed and a home game in the Section 1 Division 2 ice hockey playoff brackets announced Thursday.

The Pirates will play No. 11 Ossining 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20,  on Pearl River's home ice, Sport-O-Rama in Monsey. The winner of that game would face No. 3 John Jay-Cross River 6 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Brewster Ice Arena.

Pearl River battled injuries over the last month and lost four of its final five regular-season games after a strong start to the season.
