Pearl River Field Hockey Wins at South

The Pirates defeated the Vikings, 4-2, Saturday

Courtney Ocasal scored an unassisted goal and assisted on two others for Pearl River in a 4-2 victory at Clarkstown South Saturday.

Jackie Dowling, Kristen Sammon and Maggie Davin also scored goals for the Pirates, who improved to 2-2-2 in league play and 2-4-2 overall. Annie McBride made seven saves for Pearl River.

The Pirates lost at Harrison, 5-0, Friday despite eight saves by McBride.

Pearl River's next game is 4:30 p.m. Monday at Byram Hills.
