Pearl River Girls Lacrosse Falls to Yorktown
Lindsay Scott scored seven goals to lead Yorktown to a 13-11 victory at Pearl River.
The Pearl River girls lacrosse team led at the half in its pursuit of a second consecutive victory over a Class B powerhouse Tuesday before falling to Yorktown, 13-11.
Pearl River, which beat Nyack Saturday, was in Tuesday's game the entire way, but was hurt by fouls setting up Yorktown opportunities late.
Lindsay Scott scored seven goals for Yorktown. Maddie Wilson led Pearl River with four goals while Lauren Cook had three goals and four assists.

Pearl River will play 4:15 p.m. Friday at home against Albertus Magnus in its senior recognition game.
