Pearl River will play a first-round Section 1 Class A playoff game Saturday against the winner of an outbracket game between Gorton and Harrison.

The Pearl River girls soccer team rolled into the playoffs with 13 victories and a tie over the last 14 games, earning the Pirates the No. 2 seed in Class A when the Section 1 playoff pairings were released Thursday.
