Pearl River Girls XC Runs Streak 192 Dual Meets

Pearl River defeated Albertus Magnus and Clarkstown North to extend its streak of dual meet victories to 192.

The Pearl River girls cross country team began its dual meet winning streak in September of 1990.

The Pirates extended their run to 192 dual meets Tuesday with victories over Clarkstown North and Albertus Magnus at Clarkstown North. 

Pearl River beat Clarkstown North, 15-48, and Albertus Magnus, 15-50. Clarkstown North defeated Albertus, 15-50.

The Pirates took the first five individual places overall and 10 of the top 11. Kelly Hayes finished first in 17:11, just ahead of teammates Emma Haley and Catherine Rayward at 17:13. Kaitlyn Harding was fourth and Kaitlin O'Riordan fifth.

Zoe Maisel finished sixth, the top place for Clarkstown North, finishing the 2.5-mile course in 17:48. Grace Ostalozaga of Albertus Magnus took 12th place.

Pearl River will run next in the Briarwood Invitational Saturday in Philadelphia.
