Pearl River Hockey Runs Win Streak To 5

Patrick Burns scored two goals and Kevin Murphy added a goal and two assists for Pearl River in a 5-3 victory over New Rochelle Monday at Sport-O-Rama in Monsey.

Max McGee and Gary Healy also scored goals for the Pirates, who ran their winning streak to five games and improved their record to 10-1. Goaltender Sam Coughlin made 27 saves on 30 shots. 

Danny Moore had a goal and an assist and Tim Hekker had two assists for North Rockland (9-4), which built a 2-1 lead after one period. The Pirates rallied to take the lead for good with a three-goal second period.
