Pearl River Hockey Senior Recognition Rescheduled

The Pearl River ice hockey team's senior recognition game was moved from Saturday to Feb. 13.

The Pearl River Athletic Department announced Wednesday that it had moved the ice hockey team's final game of the regular season from Saturday to Feb. 13.

The Pirates (6-10-1) will now play their senior recognition game against North Rockland 8:30 p.m. Feb. 13 at Sport-O-Rama in Monsey. Feb. 13 is the final day games can be played before the Section 1, Division 2 playoff seedings are set Feb. 14. The playoffs begin Feb. 18. 

Pearl River lost its last two against powerhouse Suffern and a strong Scarsdale team after a streak of four wins and a tie in five games for the Pirates.

Pearl River already played North Rockland (5-12-1) once this season, a 4-2 Raiders victory Jan. 5. The Pirates
