Pearl River Holds Off West Nyack in District 12-Year-Old Baseball

Winning pitcher Jack McKee sturck out six in four innings of two-hit ball for the victory as Pearl River defeated West Nyack, 10-6, Tuesday at Haverstraw to advance to the winner's bracket final in the District 18 Baseball 12-year-old tournament. 

Jonathon Farley doubled, singled and drove in three runs and Sean Flaherty drove in three runs for Pearl River. Sean Byman and Antonio Rinaldo each had two hits and Jeffrey Long came up with a diving catch for the defensive highlight.
T.J. McIvor had three hits including a three-run home run and Chris Curran hit a three-run homer for West Nyack.

Pearl River will play Stony Point 8 p.m. Friday at South Orangetown.
