One team and one individual from Pearl River will take another shot at running against the top athletes in the state in the Federation Cross Country Championship Meet Saturday At Bowdoin Park in Wappinger Falls.
The Pearl River, which finished second in the NYSPHSAA State championship last week, will run as a team in the girls race at 12:15 p.m. Tappan Zee senior Erin Jaskot and Nanuet senior Mary Kate O'Meary qualified as individuals and Suffern will run in the meet as a team.
Senior Brian Cook, who took third in the state finals, qualified as an individual for the Federation meet. The Tappan Zee boys qualified as a team. The boys race begins at 1 p.m.
