Pearl River's Keetley, Boys Relay Take 5th at Millrose Games

Pearl River sent two individual runners and two relays to the Millrose Games Saturday at the New Balance Track and Field Center at the Armory in New York City

Pearl River's Meghan Keetley has been walking past the competition all season. 

She and Caitlin Lardaro have dominated locally in race walk competitions, with strong enough times to qualify for the Millrose Games Saturday at the New Balance Track and Field Center at the Armory in New York City.

Keetley took fiffth in the Women's USATF National Championship Mile Walk Saturday with a time of 7:50.93. Lardaro was ninth in 8:14.40. The full results for the event can be found here.

The Pearl River girls team of Molly Shine, Kelly Hayes, Maria Kohlbrenner and Ceili McMorrow finished 10th in the SuperRunners Metropolitan High School Girls' 4x800-meter Relay with a time fo 9:37.82

On the boys side, Kieran Brennan, Hans Lueders, Brenden Bateman and Tom Bonaro ran a 3:27.43 to take fifth place in the Suburban High School Boys' 4X400 relay.

They will all return to the Armory along with the full Pearl River boys and girls track teams for the Section 1 Class B championships 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
