Pearl River Soccer Shuts Out Suffern
Goalie Austin Maggiolo made eight saves in the Pirates 1-0 victory at Suffern Thursday.
Alex Castillo scored the only goal of the game just before halftime and goaltender Austin Maggiolo made eight saves to lead Pearl River to a 1-0 victory at Suffern Thursday.
Tony Ortega provided the assist on Castillo's goal. Pearl River Head Coach Damon O'Keefe also credited the strong play of his team's defense, including the work of Matt Neroda, Vincenzo Galvano, Chris Coughlin, Rich Masley and Taylor Rudloff.
Pearl River's next game is 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Tappan Zee.
