Pearl River Sports: Clohessy, Maroney Win at Holiday Track Festival

Pearl River athletes won two events in the 36th Annual Pearl River Indoor Track Holiday Festival Thursday at RCC's Levy Fieldhouse.

Kayla Clohessy leapt 16-0.25 to win the long jump and Amanda Moroney won the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 9.1 seconds.

Pearl River Ice Hockey Wins in OT

Senior Shane Ocasal scored in overtime to give Pearl River an 8-7 victory over Sleepy Hollow/Irvington/Dobbs Ferry Thursday in the Nyack Red and Black Tournament at Palisades Ice Rink.

Max McGee, Pat Burns and Tommy Murphy each contributed two goals and an assist for the Pirates (2-5).

• Pearl River boys basketball at home against North Rockland, 2 p.m.
