Pearl River Sports: Girls Basketball Falls in Rare Sunday Game

Weather-related postponements created a challenging schedule for the Pearl River girls basketball team this past week, including a rare Sunday contest.

Pearl River lost at home to Albertus Magnus Sunday, 85-61, giving the Pirates three losses in five days, including two against the Falcons.

The Pirates (7-6) will try to get back on track 4:30 p.m. Friday at home against Mt. Vernon in the first half of a rare double-header Pearl River's two varsity basketball teams. The boys will play Albertus Magnus at 7 p.m.
