Pearl River Sports: Girls XC Dual Meet Streak Reaches 200

The Pearl River girls cross country team last lost a dual meet in 1990 against Nanuet.

The Pirates ran their streak of dual meet victories to 200 Tuesday with a 15-50 victory over Nyack at Pearl River Middle School. Pearl River took the first 12 places despite sitting many of its top runners. Pearl River's Jesse McCarthy finished first overall in 20:56.7. Read more about the meet here. 

The Pearl River boys team also kept on winning Tuesday at the middle school, defeating both Clarkstown South and Nyack. Brian Cook finished first overall with a time of 16:44. Read more about the boys meet here.
