Pearl River Sports: Softball Travels to Nyack

The Pearl River softball team will play Nyack at home 4:45 p.m. today.

A second-half rally fell short as the at home Tuesday.

Pearl River will face Nyack next on the softball field at Pearl River 4:45 p.m. today.

Pearl River (4-2-1) may have only one senior on the roster, but Nyack (7-2) is even younger with eighth grader MacKenzie Johnson doing most of the pitching, freshman Megan Sneeden at catcher and sophomore Tiffany Salcito at shortstop.

Tuesday's Results

  • Golf:  -- Kevin Deegan shot the low score of the day, a 37, at Broadacres
  • Girls Lacrosse: -- Pearl River got two goals apiece from Courtney Ocasal, Maggie Davin and Caitlyn Noonan, but the Pirates' attempt to rally from a four-goal halftime deficit came up short.
