Pearl River Sports: Spring Schedule Kicks In

The Pearl River boys lacrosse team got an early start by splitting two non-league games at home last week.

The rest of Pearl River's teams will open up this week, starting with three groups of Pirates taking to the road today.

The Pearl River baseball team will open its season at Byram Hills, the same team that eliminated the Pirates from the 2012 section playoffs. 

This week's full schedule is as follows:

Tuesday

• Pearl River baseball at Byram Hills, 4:30 p.m.
• Pearl River boys lacrosse at Briarcliff, 4:30 p.m.
• Pearl River girls lacrosse at North Rockland, 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday

• North Rockland at Pearl River boys tennis, 4 p.m.

Thursday

• Suffern at Pearl River baseball, 4:15 p.m.
• Clarkstown South at Pearl River girls lacrosse, 4:15 p.m.
• Clarkstown South at Pearl River softball, 4:45 p.m.

Friday

• Pearl River boys tennis at Clarkstown South, 4 p.m.
• Pearl River girls lacrosse at Albertus Magnus, 4 p.m.

Saturday

• Pirate Relays at Pearl River, 8:30 a.m.
• Pleasantville at Pearl River baseball, 11 a.m.
• Pearl River at Edgemont boys lacrosse, 11 a.m.
