Pearl River Students Make Election Presentations

Students from Franklin Avenue Elementary and Pearl River High School will make presentations at tonight's board of education meeting. The Pearl River School board will also hear from its external auditor.

Two groups of Pearl River School District students will be showing off their interest in the Presidential election at tonight's board of education meeting 7:30 p.m. at the district administration building.

  • Franklin Avenue Elementary School second graders will present "I Can Be President." Raya Caamano, Casey Tyer, Michael Killeen, Kevin Galligan, Marisa John, Ryan Cowie, Lillianna Lesnick, Danny Wynne, Sabrina Scrima, Brandon Alexander and Marina Capone are scheduled to participate.
  • Pearl River High School students Sean Burns, Paige O'Flynn and Erin Shortell will speak about the 2012 Presidential Town Hall Meeting at the high school.

Tuesday's meeting will also include a presentation by the district's external auditors, O'Connor, Davies, Munns and Dobbins. Margaret Modugno and Chris Koph will address the board.
