Pearl River's John Muldoon reached the 113-pound championship match in Saturday's Ted Murphy Shoreline Tournament at New Rochelle High School.

That is where his pursuit of a championship fell short in a loss to Edgemont's Trey Asianian. The second-place finish was the best of the day by Pearl River.
