Pearl River Wins Again at Provident Bank Park

Pearl River defeated North Rockland, 2-1, Sunday at Provident Bank Park.

Provident Bank Park may be the Rockland Boulders' ballpark, but the Pearl River Pirates made themselves at home there with a couple of victories this weekend.

Pearl River defeated North Rockland, 2-1, Sunday at the minor league field, where they had beaten Suffern Friday. 

Kevin Considine earned the victory, giving up just one run on two hits through five innings. Mike Murphy blanked the Red Raiders over the final two innings for his first save of the season.

Chris Flood had three hits for the Pirates.

Pearl River will return to its real home field 4:15 p.m. Thursday to play Nyack.
