Pearl River's Brian Cook and Kelly Hayes each won their individual races in the Rockland County Cross Country Championships Thursday at Bear Mountain.
Cook won the boys race in 15:17.54, with Tappan Zee runners Luke Gavigan second and Liam Burke third, North Rockland won the team championship with 45 points. Tappan Zee was second wtih 48 and Pearl River third with 65. Find full results for the boys race on tullyrunners.com here.
Hayes ran the 3-mile course in 17:47.45 to win the girls race. Tappan Zee's Erin Jaskot was second. Suffern placed four runners in the top 10 to win the team county championship with 49 points. Pearl River was second eith 46 and Tappan Zee was third with 77. Full girls results are here.
