[PHOTOS] JCC Maccabi Games Action Day 1

The competition in the JCC Maccabi Games began Monday morning.

The JCC Maccabi Games opened at Rockland Community College, and on Monday the actual events started. The 1,200-plus athletes from around the world are competing in 12 sports split up at various sites throughout the county, including RCC, Suffern High School and more.

Monday's results can be found on JCC Maccabi Games Live. The sports break down as follows:
