Alumni from Pearl River and Nanuet high schools continued a tradition dating back to the 1960s on Thursday when they met for the Alumni Little Brown Jug Football Game.
Graduates from the two schools rekindled their rivalry at Pearl River High School, with Nanuet scoring the game’s first 21 points and holding on for the 21-7 win.
The football game is the first in a series of alumni events this weekend.
Funds raised from the game go to scholarships for students at both schools.
