Scarsdale Beats Pearl River on OT Goal

Matthew Blakley scored in overtime to give Scarsdale a 4-3 victory over Pearl River in an ice hockey game at Sport-O-Rama.

Matthew Blakley scored the tying goal in the third period, then added the game winner 4:50 into overtime in Scarsdale's 4-3 victory over Pearl River Saturday at Sport-O-Rama in Monsey.

Blakley also assisted on a goal and teammate James Nicholas added a goal and an assist for Scarsdale (9-3-1).

Shane Ocasal, Patrick Burns and Max McGee each scored goals for Pearl River (6-10-1). Max McGee, Kevin Murphy, Owen McGee and Patrick Gannon each had assists. 

Sam Coughlin made 32 saves on 36 shots for the Pirates.
