Tappan Zee won the two-day, six-team Pearl River Girls Tennis Tournament this past weekend with a total of 195 games won. Nayck was second with 182. Host Pearl River took fourth with 155.
The tournament matches players at each level from each school in round robin play, with the winner of the most games taking individual and team titles.
For example, Tappan Zee's Brittany Grandville won the most games among the first singles players, earning that title.
