The Pearl River Gun Club, the United Sportsmen of Rockland County, and American Legion Post 1199 co-hosted the annual Youth Outdoor Expo at the Anderson Field Complex in Orangeburg on Sunday.
The event helps to educate children on outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and camping while teaching safety. There were also wildlife exhibits and Native American artifacts on display. Attendees were given the chance to fire rifles, shotguns, a bow and arrow, and paint ball guns under the supervision of club members.
