I'm a Celebrity!

But really...

Ever since I've been honored with the position of being on Team USA for the Maccabiah Games, I have been contacting everyone I can to let them know about it. I get that it's big news (I am the second of my county, the first member of my temple to go, and I'm pretty sure the first of my college to go), but I feel like people are going above and beyond.

Is this how actual celebrities feel?

So far, I have had a phone interview with The Jewish Reporter, just had an in person interview with the Newton Tab, I have two blogs which get updated frequently, I have been headlining my temple's news and weekly emails, my father is trying to get my story on the Journal News and I will be broadcasted on the school's athletic page as well as the homepage. Oh, I am trying to contact the Boston Globe as well.

I'm not upset about it, I just want to take this time to remind myself that this is an incredible honor and I will have the experience of my lifetime no matter how well or how bad I do. I don't want to let things go to my head.

I will always have the rest of my life for fame and fortune, but I guess while I'm in the limelight now, I should soak it in, right?
