Askenas Chiropractic Collects Blankets For Locals in Need

Askenas Chiropractic is holding its 7th Annual Blanket Drive from now through Nov. 19 at 13 North Main St. in Pearl River

The blankets are donated to the United Way of Rockland County, which distributes them to local residents in need.

"Since our first blanket drive in 2005, patientds and friends of Askenas Chiropractic have donated thousands of blankets," said Dr. Todd Askenas and Risa Askenas through a release about the blanket drive. "We initiate our drive each year just before Thanksgiving so that the blankets can go out to those who need them just as winter closes in."

Blankets should be clean or new and are being collected at the office which is open Monday through Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
