Celebrate Carolyn Family Fun Day

Tickets are on sale for a charity event to raise funds to help children battling cancer and other diseases in honor of Carolyn Sullivan.

The Carolyn Sullivan Memorial Foundation is selling tickets for the Celebrate Carolyn Family Fun Day.

The event is set for the Pearl River Elks Pavilion Sept. 24, the two-year anniversary of the death of Carolyn Sullivan, an eight-year-old girl who was lost after a five-month battle with a brain tumor in 2009.

The foundation provides support for children battling illness and their families. The Celebrate Carolyn Family Fun Day will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 24 with games and activities for children, food, beer, wine, soda, music and raffles. Those who purchase tickets before Sept. 1 are entered into a raffle for a $200 gift card. PJ the DJ has donated entertainment services for the event.
