This week Luigi O'Grady's Deli and Catering in Pearl River began a raffle to raise money for Team O'Grady's participation in the , which is scheduled for Oct. 7 at STAC.
The grand prize is a 37-inch high definition television with a retail cost of $350. Tickets are available at $5 per chance and three for $10 from now until the day of the walk. More information about the walk, which is one of many sponsored nationwide by the Alzheimer's Association, can be found .
The Rockland County chapter of the Alzheimer's Association will be holding a . Candles to light in honor of those afflicted by Alzheimer's Disease will be available for $10.
